     What’s a teletext grandad ?
As you can tell by the name they have been around for a long time. They have.... they were the very first digital travel agent, using those simple text and geometric graphics on TV screens back in the 1990’s. They have abandoned that old platform and today have a fully integrated online presence. Over the last 25 years they have carried 20 million customers, over 380,000 last year.
This month Teletext Holidays launched in Ireland and I went along to meet them for lunch at One Pico, a little gem of a restaurant tucked away around the corner from Dáil Eireann  (that’s the Irish Parliament - for my friends around the world)
