Glasgow City Marketing Bureau (GCMB) recently came to Dublin and invited a selection of well travelled Irish hacks to lunch at Chapter One (www.chapteronerestaurant.com) on the very day that esteemed eatery retained its well deserved Michelin star for yet another year.
They were out to encourage us to take a short trip and break in Glasgow - Scotland’s largest city.
A dazzling arts and culture scene, architectural heritage and world-class shopping are just some of the reasons why. They announced a year-long programme of events coax us over,covering a vast range to include music lovers, fashionistas, culture vultures, food connoisseurs and sports fanatics, et al.
